CARES | Proposal
CARES’ mission is to empower & equip the next generation with the skills & resources they’ll need to become healthy & successful adults who will contribute positively to society. We specialize in a small art class. We serve about 5-8 students. This is our proposal as we develop our curriculum. CARES provides art education to students. When we become a nonprofit, our goal is to provide youths with a safe & supervised place to go to afterschool or for spring, summer & Christmas vacations. The startup program strengthens youth's resistance to risky behavior, drugs, and school failure through performance, implementation of Social Emotional Learning strategies, exploration of vocational opportunities, engagement in recreational activities and learning about social development.
